Neekonline is founded on three core beliefs:
Everybody has at least one remarkable idea inside them.
Everyone has a story worth sharing.
With a pencil, persistence, and the power of the ripple effect anyone can change the world.
“Just as ripples spread out when a single pebble is dropped into water, the actions of individuals can have far-reaching effects.”
- Dalai Lama XIV
PURPOSE…
To inspire remarkable change. Dot by dot. Line by line. Story by story.
“Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value.”
- Albert Einstein

A world where everyone can wake up in the morning and say: “Whatever happens, I will be OK,” no matter the cards they are dealt in life.

BEHAVIOURS…
#1 Trust the Process
“A river cuts through rock, not because of its power, but because of its persistence.” – Jim Watkins
Be persistent! Everything is figureoutable (as Marie Forleo would say).
Think like a scientist! Failure is not failure. It’s an experiment that didn’t work out.
Don’t focus on where you want to go. Focus on building the systems that will get you there.
#2 Tell Great Stories
“The universe isn’t made up of atoms; it’s made up of tiny stories.” – Joseph Gordon-Levitt
The stories we tell ourselves about ourselves are part of our identity. Everyone has a story worth telling if we only stop, listen, and pay attention.
Stories are in our DNA. They are how we bottle the collective wisdom of our species, distil the lessons learned by those who came before, and inspire future generations. So use them wisely, and for good.
Hold on to that childlike sense of curiosity and wonder for dear life, and remember to look for the magic in the mundane.
#3 Never Give Anyone a Fish...
“Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man how to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.” - Lao Tzu
…Give them a fishing rod! Most of us will fail to take action if we feel like we’re not ready, or we’re ill-prepared for the task ahead of us. Give people the tools they need to solve their problems for themselves.
A little bit of struggle is good for us! But never leave anybody floundering if you can help.
Find the root cause of the problem. Look past the symptoms, then look for simple, long-term, and sustainable solutions.
