PHILOSOPHY

#1 Trust the Process (“Everything is Figureoutable.”)

“A river cuts through rock, not because of its power, but because of its persistence.”
– Jim Watkins

  • Progress happens one step at a time – Big achievements are made of small, consistent actions taken over time. Keep moving forward or you’ll get stuck like cement. Remarkable change happens dot by dot, line by line, and story by story.

  • There is more than one path to the top of the mountain – No matter the problem in front of you, there is always another way. Be resourceful.

  • Follow your curiosity — Embrace life’s detours. The journey may not be linear, but every twist and turn is a necessary part of the story. Keep going, adjust course as needed, and choose progress over perfection.

#2 Tell Great Stories (“The most powerful person in the world is the storyteller.”)

“The universe isn’t made up of atoms; it’s made up of tiny stories.”
– Joseph Gordon-Levitt

  • Pay attention to the little things—The tiniest of moments can lead to the grandest of adventures. Never underestimate the power of serendipity. What you overlook today could be the start of an awfully big adventure tomorrow.

  • Document the journey—The best stories connect with us on an emotional level. Anything drawn, written, or crafted by hand taps into three core human experiences: authenticity, nostalgia, and imperfection. They feel more human, more relatable, and more powerful.

Storytelling is a powerful tool for change—Stories shape how we see the world. They spark curiosity, challenge perspectives, and inspire action. A single tiny story can start a ripple of meaningful, lasting change—one that builds into a wave, then a tsunami that can be felt around the world.

#3 Only Dead Fish Follow the Stream (“Don’t steal their struggle.“)

“Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man how to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.” - Lao Tzu

  • Question everything – Just because something has always been done a certain way doesn’t mean it’s the best way. Think like a scientist. Experiment. Fail. Then fail again. Find 1000 ways that don’t work—but above all, stay curious.

  • Let people earn their own wisdom – Growth comes from experience. Mentor, guide, support, and inspire—but let them be the hero of their own story. Wisdom isn’t found. It’s earned.

  • Find your own path – The best ideas don’t come from following trends and doing what everybody else is doing. Human eyes are drawn to contrast—when everything is moving, we notice what is still. When everything is still, we notice what moves. Swim against the current. Be different in a way that matters.
